After comprehensively interviewing several contractors, without any reservation, John DiDonna not only presented the fairest and most detailed bid of any of the other builders, but, he was stood among many other professionals who asked the right questions and brought along the best sub-contractors to offer their input during the bidding process. Since my husband is in the real estate business and knows the building industry very well, he felt strongly that choosing Trilogy as our contractor is truly the best decision we made!

John is a consummate gentleman who is mild-mannered, exceedingly knowledgeable, respected among his colleagues and most of all, listens extremely well to client concerns and wishes. Since we live off season up North, we felt tremendously comfortable having Trilogy in complete charge in our absence during our extensive building project. His project manager, Josh, proved to be extremely capable and possessed just the right expertise along with amazing “people” skills to provide personal weekly updates, constant photos and opened the door easily and immediately for our continued access. Of utmost importance, John and Josh collaborated sensitively in working with both our architect and designer during every single phase of construction. It is often rare to find such symbiotic collaborations among design professionals and this team was the exception to the rule as they were totally in sync at all times! Whenever there was any issue, even if unanticipated, both Josh and John were on “it,” always exceeding our response expectations!

Our community was so impressed with the incredible building progress and speed that we received ongoing calls from community residents who we had never met to “check out” our builder for their own personal needs. John knows the business and has access to the most amazing sub-contractors, who were on the job daily without fail and whose presence was felt in numbers as he promised to get the house completed in a set-time frame which was delivered exactly as indicated.

Our home demolition work and subsequent total remodeling is beyond anything we could have imagined in great part due to Trilogy’s attentions to every single aspect of construction. Each day, in our absence, the site was left in fine order with all debris appropriately discarded, leading us to learn of the phenomenal workmanship from the management and many residents of the community.

John was responsible for the construction of lavish multi-million dollar mansions built on speculation in Palm Beach County, Florida. His responsibilities included the coordination of complex projects ranging from $2 million to $20 million. John has an eye for interpreting my vision in to a reality.

What I most admired about John is he always took an owners approach to his decision making. He treated budgets and expenses as if they were his own. He was always willing and capable of wearing many different hats, a necessary attribute of a successful “intrapreneur”, or autonomous operator.

He was able to keep projects very close to budget and schedule. We refer to it around here as balancing the other holy trinity (budget, schedule and quality).
